“When he was 14, Smith drowned in Lake Saint Louis and was dead for nearly an hour. According to reports at the time, CPR was performed 27 minutes to no avail. Then the youth’s mother, Joyce Smith, entered the room, praying loudly. Suddenly, there was a pulse, and Smith came around.”
Breakthrough is a very inspiring and emotional movie based on a real story about a 14 year old boy that drowns and is dead for almost an hour, but that suddenly gets a pulse when his mom enters the room he was lying dead in…
well pulse or not, the boy continues in coma and nobody knows what conditions this boy will be in if he ever wakes up.
It’s a movie about faith and family… and hope.
Chrissy Metz who plays the mother did a wonderful performance and its a movie that will be hard but good to watch to appreciate the people you love more.
